A Tropical Installation at the Omni Orlando Resort
For this installation, our team was invited to design a greenery solution at the beautiful Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando.
The venue’s scale and grandeur made the rotunda a perfect location for a botanical focal point. Our client, PRA Events, was hosting a large corporate conference and wanted the space to feel welcoming, polished, and visually impressive for arriving guests.
To achieve this, we created a tropical-inspired installation that mirrored the lush landscaping found throughout the resort’s exterior grounds.
Selecting Plants That Define the Space
The design featured a combination of bold structural plants and layered foliage accents.
Our team selected:
Majesty palm rentals
Monstera plant rentals
The majesty palms provided height and elegance, anchoring the pillars and reinforcing the architectural scale of the rotunda. Their tall, graceful fronds helped define the vertical dimension of the space.
At the base, monstera plants added width and lush texture. Their distinctive leaves introduced a tropical character that complemented the resort’s surrounding landscape.
This layered plant composition created a balanced aesthetic that felt both intentional and naturally integrated with the venue.
A Functional Focal Point for Large Conferences
Beyond aesthetics, the greenery installation served an important functional role.
In large conferences and corporate gatherings, transitional spaces such as rotundas often become high-traffic crossing points. By introducing greenery into the design, the space became more than just a passageway — it became a welcoming focal moment within the event experience.
