For this installation, we were invited to style the stage within the beautiful Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale — specifically in the venue’s renowned Tavistock Ballroom.
Known for its expansive stage and elegant architectural proportions, the ballroom offers a canvas that lends itself beautifully to stage plant rentals and luxury foliage installations.

Balancing Height, Structure, and Softness
To achieve this effect, we focused on a carefully layered plant composition that balanced vertical structure with softer botanical elements.
The design incorporated:
Tall, narrow foliage columns to frame the stage
Low, wide palm tree rentals to add fullness and movement
Sculptural ZZ plants to introduce texture and architectural contrast
This combination allowed us to play with both height and width, creating visual depth without crowding the stage.
The tall columns provided structure and definition, while the broader palms softened the composition. The ZZ plants, known for their sculptural form and glossy leaves, added a refined finishing touch.
