At Vista Terrace at Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa, we created florals for an outdoor corporate hospitality event with limited notice. The ocean view, white architecture, patterned tile, and strong green details of the space already had a point of view. The floral design had to belong there.

Florals That Let the Property Speak

This was not the place for a loud centerpiece competing with the view. We designed low, composed arrangements that felt lush at the edge and quiet at the center—full enough to bring life to the tables, but restrained enough to preserve sightlines and conversation.

The palette stayed inside the hotel’s visual language: pale green hydrangea, ivory roses and soft white blooms, layered with rounded eucalyptus, textural fern, glossy tropical greens, and a light scatter of delicate white filler. The arrangement moved between softness and structure, with the tropical foliage giving it a bold green backbone.

Each piece was set in a ribbed ivory vessel, connecting naturally to the white furnishings and open coastal setting. Against the olive linen and Miami Beach light, the result felt considered rather than decorated.

The Floral Recipe: Soft White, Strong Green, and a Coastal Point of View

The composition began with hydrangea for volume and softness, then opened through white blooms with a garden-like quality. Round eucalyptus leaves gave the arrangement a clean, graphic shape; layered fern and tropical foliage brought in movement and depth.

Nothing was overworked. Nothing was overly formal.

The design was intentionally compact and low, with enough texture to feel abundant but enough restraint to suit a minimalist outdoor hotel setting. It was a floral expression of the property itself: fresh, relaxed, polished, and unmistakably South Florida.
