Premium Corporate Event Foliage and Florals at Nu Stadium

At a venue built for global sport, entertainment and high-profile hospitality, every event element must understand its setting.

For a private premium corporate gathering at Nu Stadium, Temporary Tropics was engaged by We Are Wonder, the London-based experiential agency managing the event, to provide live foliage rentals and fresh florals throughout the guest experience.

The program brought together senior stakeholders, Clients and invited guests in an environment where visual restraint, discretion and operational precision were equally important. Our work needed to feel elevated, natural and entirely at home within the stadium’s contemporary hospitality spaces.

The brief was clear: create an ultra-premium atmosphere, respect the event’s purple visual language and incorporate the host’s preferred flower—deep purple tulips—without allowing the floral design to become overly decorative.

The result was a layered biophilic environment of premium foliage, tailored florals and intentional placements that carried the experience from arrival through hospitality, brand storytelling and private gathering spaces.

A Stadium Event Requires Its Own Discipline

A stadium is not a conventional event venue.

Its scale, access procedures, guest circulation, loading conditions and active operational rhythms require an additional layer of coordination. Event production takes place within a high-profile environment where timing matters, access must be managed carefully and every vendor partner must work with discretion.

For Temporary Tropics, that means arriving prepared.

Our team coordinates closely with the agency, venue contacts and event-production partners to align delivery windows, access requirements, plant placement and installation sequence. We work with credentialed crews, protect the presentation standards of the venue and handle every installation with respect for confidentiality.

The details of a private event should remain private. What guests should experience is ease.

That standard guided this project from the first plant placement through final styling.

The Design Direction: Purple, Softened by Nature

Purple can be commanding. In a corporate setting, it can also become visually dominant if it is not balanced with restraint.

The event’s graphic language featured saturated violet, lavender and soft lilac tones across scenic panels, branded storytelling moments and lounge furniture. Rather than introduce additional color through abundant greenery or elaborate florals, we used a controlled palette of fresh whites, deep purple tulips and restrained greens.

The floral recipe was intentionally composed:

  • Deep purple tulips, selected as the host’s preferred flower

  • White roses and ranunculus for softness and refinement

  • White hydrangea for fullness and quiet scale

  • Crisp white blooms and restrained tropical foliage

  • Folded green leaves to create shape, structure and polish

The greenery never became a competing color story. It provided a calm, living counterpoint to the purple environment.

This is an essential principle of luxury floral design: not every element needs to announce itself. Sometimes the most powerful choice is to give the brand room to speak.

The Hospitality Bar: Living Scale Around a High-Impact Setting

The central hospitality bar already carried a remarkable visual presence. Illuminated with a warm, amber-toned front, framed by stadium views and finished beneath an architectural ceiling, it was a natural focal point of the room.

Our role was to give it scale and life.

Large palms in white planters were positioned behind the bar, creating a green horizon against the stadium backdrop. Their height softened the glass and structural lines without interfering with service or sightlines. At the bar itself, low floral arrangements brought purple tulips and white blooms into the guest’s immediate field of view.

The contrast was intentional: warm light, white florals, rich violet seating and fresh foliage.

Together, these elements transformed the hospitality bar from a functional service point into a composed social environment. It felt generous, but never overworked.

The Executive Suite: Florals Designed for Close Viewing

In the Audi Executive Suite and Platinum Level areas, the scale shifted.

Guests encountered floral arrangements at close range—on glossy white consoles, in meeting spaces and along circulation points where the flowers had to feel precise from every angle.

The arrangements were low, full and sculptural. White hydrangea and roses created a soft foundation, while deep purple tulips introduced an elegant line of color. Broad green leaves were folded with intention, giving the designs architectural form without relying on excessive foliage.

Each arrangement was placed to complement the suite’s bright interior, pale wood flooring and black architectural accents. The polished white surfaces allowed the flowers to read clearly, while the purple tulips created a discreet connection to the greater event identity.

Even in a highly branded program, there is value in a quiet moment of beauty.

Foliage as a Natural Wayfinding System

Throughout the stadium’s hospitality areas, premium plant rentals were used to guide the eye, soften transitions and bring continuity to the event footprint.

Palms, ferns and architectural tropical foliage were placed in clean white planters near entrances, along branded storytelling panels, beside lounge and meeting settings and at moments where the space opened into a larger guest journey.

In the Nu brand-timeline installation, palms and ferns added natural depth to the sequence of purple panels. The foliage helped the content feel anchored within the venue rather than simply installed within it.

Along the broader event floor, larger bird-of-paradise and palm groupings introduced height near columns and presentation structures. The plants created a more dimensional room, particularly where large-format graphics, lighting and open circulation could otherwise feel visually hard.

Foliage can be decorative. At its best, it is also directional.

It helps guests understand where to look, where to pause and where the next experience begins.

The Private Gathering Space: Life, Balance and Human Scale

Within the private meeting and dining setting, the design became even more restrained.

A single violet tulip arrangement on the central table offered a fine point of color. Around it, palms and compact foliage groupings in white planters gave the room warmth and visual balance.

The living elements were placed at the perimeter, where they could soften the pale walls and frame the seating without crowding the table or interrupting conversation.

This approach is particularly effective for executive gatherings. The room retains its composure, but it no longer feels sterile. Guests are given a setting that is polished, human and quietly hospitable.

The foliage does not ask for attention. It rewards it.

High-Touch Floral and Foliage Design, Delivered Seamlessly

The production window for this event was concise, as is often the case within active stadium environments.

A successful quick-turn installation does not depend on rushing. It depends on preparation, communication and a clear design hierarchy.

Our team focused the available time on the details that would carry the greatest impact:

  • Healthy, premium foliage selected for proportion and condition

  • White planters that felt integrated with the venue’s contemporary palette

  • Purple-tulip floral designs that honored the host’s preference

  • Restrained greens that supported, rather than competed with, the purple brand world

  • Strategic plant placement around high-visibility spaces

  • Low, polished florals appropriate for executive suites and hospitality surfaces

  • Coordinated installation that respected access procedures, venue operations and the wider event team

The process moved quickly. The finished setting did not feel hurried.

That distinction is central to high-touch event design.

Discretion Is Part of the Service

For a high-profile venue and a private corporate program, discretion is not an add-on. It is part of the work.

Temporary Tropics approaches these environments with professionalism, confidentiality and respect for every guest, Client and venue partner involved. Our teams understand that the visual outcome is only one part of a successful installation.

The rest is found in the standards behind it:

clear communication, organized coordination, appropriate access practices, responsible onsite conduct and the ability to work seamlessly within a larger production ecosystem.

The most successful events leave guests with a sense of confidence. Everything looked right. Everything felt considered. Nothing required explanation.

Nature, Curated for a New Miami Landmark

Nu Stadium represents a new chapter for Miami, Inter Miami CF and the city’s growing culture of sport, hospitality and live entertainment.

For this private corporate event, We Are Wonder created a bold branded experience within that larger setting. Temporary Tropics brought the living material: premium palms, layered foliage and florals that carried the host’s preferred purple tulips through the space with restraint and elegance.

The result was a setting that felt tailored to its guests and true to its venue—high-energy where it needed to be, calm where conversation mattered and polished from the first arrival through the final gathering.

Nature, curated. Experiences, elevated.
