Orlando Convention Plant Rentals | Live Foliage for Conferences, Trade Shows & Corporate Events

A convention floor isn't experienced one booth at a time. Guests experience it as one continuous environment.

When thousands of attendees walk onto a conference floor, they rarely notice individual décor elements. What they remember is how the space made them feel.

Did it feel exciting?

Did it feel intentional?

Did it feel premium?

Or did it simply feel like another trade show?

At Temporary Tropics, these are the questions we ask long before the first planter is delivered.

For this three-day technology conference at the Orlando Marriott in May 2026, our team was brought in to provide live foliage rentals throughout an entire convention floor—creating visual cohesion across dozens of exhibitors, activation spaces, networking areas, educational stages, and experiential environments.

The objective wasn't simply to place plants.

It was to create one continuous experience.

Great Conferences Are Designed as Complete Experiences

Technology conferences often invest heavily in exhibit fabrication, LED walls, production technology, digital content, sponsorship activations, and attendee engagement.

Yet despite significant investment, many conference floors still feel fragmented.

One booth looks polished.

The next feels unfinished.

One activation attracts attention.

The neighboring space feels disconnected.

This is where strategic live foliage rentals become one of the highest-return design investments available.

Living greenery acts as the thread that visually connects an entire convention floor.

Rather than decorating isolated spaces, we create continuity throughout the attendee journey.

Designing Cohesion Across an Entire Convention Floor

This conference occupied nearly an entire meeting level of the hotel.

Each exhibitor had a different footprint.

Different branding.

Different colors.

Different structures.

Different objectives.

Rather than treating each installation independently, we approached the conference as one complete environment.

Throughout the exhibit hall we strategically introduced live tropical plants, architectural palms, ficus trees, ferns, and premium planter collections that softened hard exhibit structures while establishing visual rhythm throughout the space.

The result was subtle but powerful.

Guests naturally moved through the conference without ever feeling they had entered disconnected environments.

Every activation felt part of one carefully curated experience.

Turning an F1 Racing Simulator Into an Immersive Brand Experience

One of the conference's most engaging activations featured professional Formula 1 racing simulators.

The technology itself already delivered excitement.

Our role was to create an environment worthy of that experience.

Instead of allowing the simulators to exist as standalone equipment on a convention floor, we surrounded the activation with living hedge walls, lush Boston ferns, and flowering seasonal plants that introduced movement, texture, and energy while naturally framing the experience.

The hedge walls provided clean architectural separation without making the space feel enclosed, while the flowering plants softened the surrounding technology and created an inviting destination that encouraged attendees to stop, engage, and interact.

Rather than feeling like equipment placed on carpet, the simulator became a true experiential marketing environment.

This is the difference between an activation and an experience.

Height Creates Presence

Conferences demand visual hierarchy.

Large exhibit structures naturally command attention.

Without thoughtful design, lower-profile booths can disappear within the surrounding architecture.

To maintain balance throughout the convention floor, we incorporated large palms in elevated architectural planters throughout key circulation points and between major exhibit structures.

The vertical plantings accomplished several objectives simultaneously.

They added scale.

They improved sightlines.

They softened expansive architectural spaces.

Most importantly, they created visual consistency across the entire event.

Guests could subconsciously recognize the living design language no matter where they walked throughout the conference.

Stage Design That Frames the Conversation

Educational sessions are among the most photographed areas of any conference.

Every presentation.

Every keynote.

Every panel discussion.

Every speaker photograph becomes part of the event's visual legacy.

For both presentation stages, we designed botanical compositions featuring lush tropical greenery and layered ferns that framed—not distracted from—the presenters.

Plants naturally soften rigid stage architecture while adding depth, texture, and warmth to photography, livestreams, and audience sightlines.

Rather than relying on expensive scenic fabrication, live foliage rentals created a premium presentation environment that felt timeless, elegant, and authentically connected to Florida.

Why Meeting Planner Experience Changes Everything

Temporary Tropics approaches conference design differently because our perspective is different.

Before becoming owners of Temporary Tropics, our leadership spent years planning corporate meetings, conferences, conventions, and executive events.

That experience fundamentally changes how we think.

We don't begin by asking:

"Where should the plants go?"

We begin by asking:

How will attendees enter the space?

Where will registration naturally bottleneck?

Which booths need additional visual presence?

Where will photographers stand?

How will sponsors maximize visibility?

Which activations deserve emphasis?

Where can greenery improve circulation without obstructing operations?

Every design decision begins with the attendee journey.

Because exceptional conference design isn't measured by how beautiful it looks in an empty room.

It's measured by how naturally thousands of people experience it.

Florida Is Home. The United States Is Our Canvas.

Temporary Tropics proudly serves conferences and corporate events throughout the United States.

But Florida remains where our expertise runs deepest.

From Orlando convention hotels and Miami Beach resorts to Palm Beach executive meetings, Tampa conferences, Jacksonville events, Naples hospitality venues, and South Florida corporate activations, our team understands the logistics, loading requirements, venue operations, and production schedules unique to Florida's busiest event destinations.

Whether your event welcomes 200 attendees or 20,000, we design scalable botanical environments that integrate seamlessly with production, exhibit design, and meeting operations.

Why Conference Organizers Choose Temporary Tropics

Conference organizers don't need another décor vendor.

They need a partner who understands how meetings actually function.

Temporary Tropics specializes in conference plant rentals, trade show greenery, live foliage rentals, corporate event décor, experiential marketing environments, stage foliage design, and convention center botanical installations that support both aesthetics and operations.

We are frequently called upon for projects requiring fast turnarounds, complex logistics, challenging load-ins, and strategic design solutions where every detail matters.

Because while anyone can deliver plants…

Designing environments that improve the attendee experience requires something entirely different.

It requires thinking like meeting planners.

Designing like biophilic strategists.

And executing with the precision that only comes from years of producing complex corporate events.

At Temporary Tropics, that is the standard we bring to every conference floor we enter.
