To accomplish this, we selected two of the hardest-working plants in event design.
Ferns: Maximum Coverage, Timeless Elegance
Across the front of the stage, we used lush Boston Ferns to soften the architectural lines of the platform while creating a continuous ribbon of vibrant greenery.
Ferns are one of the most effective stage plants because they:
Cover a wide horizontal footprint
Create fullness without excessive height
Photograph beautifully
Add softness to large stages
Work within a wide variety of budgets
Rather than leaving large sections of exposed stage visible, the ferns create a polished foreground that immediately elevates the entire presentation.
Sometimes the most effective design isn't about adding more décor.

Framing the Stage Naturally
To complete the design, tall palms were positioned at the rear corners of the stage.
These vertical elements accomplish several important goals:
Balance the proportions of a large auditorium
Frame the projection screen naturally
Highlight the podium without overpowering it
Add height while maintaining open sightlines
Create visual symmetry for photography and video
The result is a stage that feels complete, welcoming, and intentionally designed.
