At the Excellence Lawyers Retreat, Temporary Tropics used modular hedge walls to transform an ordinary transition area into a purposeful guest journey.
The hedge walls were arranged to create a defined tunnel, guiding attendees from the hallway into the foyer and onward toward the ballroom. Rather than relying on signs, stanchions, or other overt crowd-control elements, the greenery created an intuitive route through the space.
Guests could immediately understand where to go, yet the experience felt immersive rather than instructional.
At the end of the tunnel, a grand architectural threshold introduced the next moment. Beyond it, guests encountered a customized botanical activation featuring the Excellence Lawyers Retreat branding, layered greenery, dimensional butterflies, and complementary live foliage.
The sequence was carefully considered.
First, the hedge walls narrowed the visual field and established direction. Then, the grand entrance created a moment of reveal. Finally, the branded activation gave guests a reason to pause, engage, and capture content before moving into the larger event.

Hedge walls are among the most versatile tools in biophilic event design.
They may be used as a simple branded backdrop, but their potential extends far beyond a flat wall. Because the panels are modular, they can become corridors, corners, rooms, entrances, privacy enclosures, registration boundaries, hospitality suites, backstage screens, or complete hedge-wall tunnels.
