We’ve been in business for over 20 years with a cumulative 50 years of experience in hospitality and botany. Temporary Tropics was founded by Mark Grassini and Brian Brittany 20 years ago. In May 2025, Joseph Michel and Lili Susana acquired Temporary Tropics - expanding our services beyond live foliage rentals into full-service event management. Temporary Tropics is led by Creative Directors with over 30 years of experience within event design and production, you can expect clever solutions adorned with an aesthetic approach. Our Creative Directors hold DMCPs, CMPs, CIS and Master’s in International Business - our team’s experience is backed by our academic training for a full-spectrum service translating into projects that yield favorable ROIs with sustainable and aesthetic approaches.

Rentals include short-term and long-term leases, with the option to rent planters as well. All potted plants are complimentary topped with Spanish Moss and plants are leaf-shined where permissible. Temporary Tropics is centrally located in Broward County with an extensive plant selection, as Plant Brokers we can source virtually any species and height requested. Temporary Tropics serves all of Florida - in South Florida we often work in Miami-Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County and Collier County. In Central Florida, we often service Orlando, Tampa and Sarasota and in North Florida we often service Tallahassee + Jacksonville.
